About this campground

Tea Tree campground is on Taungurung country, about 40 minutes drive south of Myrtleford. Located on the banks of the Buffalo River, this grassy, flat campground is a great base to explore the beautiful surrounds of the Dandongadale and Buffalo River state forests.

Tea Tree is one of the larger campgrounds along the Buffalo River waterfront so there is plenty of room to pitch a tent or roll out the swag. A set of steps lead down to the river where you can relax to the sounds of the flowing water.

The site is unpowered. Basic facilities such as fire pits, picnic tables and a drop toilet are available.

Other nearby campgrounds along Abbeyards Road include Manna Gum and Blades.
