Delatite Arm Reserve

Camping along the shores of Lake Eildon

The Delatite Arm Reserve is situated along the shores of Lake Eildon and is adjacent to bushland, pine plantation and revegetated forest areas.

The reserve is popular for camping, water sports, scenic views and fishing, with the extensive forests to the south and east also providing great opportunities for exploration by 4WD and trail bikes.

Temporary closures for pine harvesting 

There is harvesting of pine plantation at the Delatite Arm Reserve occurring from October 2026 to May 2029, as part of a program to restore native forest along Lake Eildon. There will be some temporary closures of a small number of campgrounds over this period.

Camping at the Delatite Arm Reserve

There are lots of camping sites located above the high-water mark of Lake Eildon. Facilities are basic, unpowered and available on a first come, first served basis. No bookings are required, but early arrival is advised during peak periods. Some temporary campground closures will also be in place to May 2029 whilst harvesting of pines occur.
