About the park
Greening the Pipeline is working to transform a section of the heritage-listed Main Outfall Sewer pipeline. The pipeline reserve runs along the Federation Trail, between Forsyth Road and Skeleton Creek near Truganina.
Wyndham City Council managed the project alongside Traditional Owners. Other project partners included:
- Greater Western Water
- Melbourne Water
- Department of Transport and Planning
- Greening the West.
The long-term vision is to transform the reserve into a 27-kilometre park connecting Werribee to the city.
