About this campground

Two Mile Creek Campground is the first of 6 campgrounds within the Upper Dargo Camping Precinct. Located only 10 minutes north of Dargo, this easily accessible campground adjoins a small creek and has plenty of space for large caravans, camper trailers and smaller tent-based camping.

The main campground on the western side of the Upper Dargo Road contains all-abilities facilities including a shelter, firepits, picnic tables and a toilet. There is also an 800m sensory walk where visitors can meander along the creek and take in the sounds and scenery while reading interpretive signs along the way. The walk then crosses Upper Dargo Road, before continuing through the eastern campground to the Dargo River.

This large, open, flat campground is an excellent place to unhitch your caravan or camper trailer and explore the iconic sites surrounding Dargo.

Accessibility information

For those looking for a more accessible camping experience, this is a great location.

The two-cubicle toilet is accessible, with rails and adequate space to manoeuvre a wheelchair inside. There is a gentle sloping compacted gravel path to access the toilet.

The sensory walk along the creek is approximately 1.2 metres wide and has a compacted fine granite gravel surface.

Camping is dispersed, so you can choose where to camp in the campground. There are no paths to any specific camping areas, so you need to be able to navigate the natural surfaces, which can be soft or bumpy depending on the location or weather. Being able to select where you camp gives you the ability to choose a location that may be easier to access depending on your needs.

There is a shelter with accessible picnic tables that a wheelchair can fit under. The shelter is accessed from the gravel carpark via a compacted gravel path.
