Simon Gough: So here in the Stanley State Forest in Yackandandah, really excited to announce the opening of the new green mountain bike track, an addition to the Yack tracks network here in Yackandandah.

An all abilities, all access mountain bike track about 4 km long with a couple of hundred metres of elevation gain.

Hopefully this is going to open up mountain biking to a bunch of people that haven’t had access to it before.

So this trail’s been built to cater for adaptive bikes, as well as kids and beginners. Its this really nice, smooth, flowy, fun, fully confidence-building inclusive kind of trail.

And whether you’re starting out riding with the family or using an adaptive bike with three wheels or four wheels it’s been designed to give you the ability to get through, experience the thrill of mountain bike riding in Yackandandah, and it’s safe and fun.

And I guess for us, it’s all about accessibility, connecting people with our bush, and getting people out here enjoying the forest in every different way.

So if you can, get out here, grab your bike, bring your friends, get mum and dad or grandparents to come out with you and experience the new trail that’s out here for you at Yack.
