Seasonal Rangers
We’re investing $1.5 million to employ more Seasonal Rangers to welcome visitors in our parks and forests.
Seasonal Rangers play an integral role in managing and protecting Victoria's parks and forests. The new rangers are employed during peak visitation periods and will assist in:
- maintaining tracks, trails and campgrounds
- informing visitors about safety in parks and forests
- helping to protect and conserve natural places and cultural sites
Recruiting additional Seasonal Rangers
Applications to become a seasonal ranger open each year. The jobs are based all over Victoria during the summer season and peak visitation periods and are open to people of all backgrounds.
