Seasonal Rangers
We invested $1.5 million to employ 36 Seasonal Rangers to welcome visitors to our parks and forests during peak visitation periods.
Seasonal Rangers play an integral role in managing and protecting Victoria's parks and forests. The new rangers assisted to:
- educate visitors about safety in parks and forests
- protect and conserve natural places and cultural sites
- maintain tracks, trails and camping areas
