Outdoors Victoria is a proud partner of DEECA helping deliver Discover our forests. And this program is so important for our Victorian community because it supports them to have the confidence to get outside, get moving in our forests in a safe, supported way.

So we know that there are underrepresented groups that face barriers to participation in Victoria’s state forests and the intent of this program was to provide an avenue for those groups to get active and involved.

So when we take community groups out into these wonderful forests and we go hiking, rafting or caving, you get to see them really open up, communicate and just share this fantastic experience.
It makes me feel so, so proud of being part of a program like this.
I really enjoy bringing people into the forest.
It's fantastic.
And I really hope that there's opportunities for us to be able to provide more programs to more people and so that they can all experience just the amazing nature that we're around today.

We'd love to be able to deliver future iterations of Discover our Forests, to be able to partner with key organisations such as Outdoors Victoria and to provide platforms for licenced tour operators to get key community groups such as these out and involved in Victoria’s state forests.
